Hi everyone! For this week’s shopping post I’m heading straight into fall. I want to make this one a bit more thematic this week, because I just think it makes for a more interesting post. And this month, I think it would be appropriate for us to all shop for a Ralph Lauren Fall. Actually nothing on here is from Ralph Lauren, but I hope everyone knows that is the vibe! Here we go!
With the buzz around barn jackets, the response to the Ralph Lauren SS25 show, and the continuing trend toward Americana-inspired fashion, I thought this post would be a fun one for me. I don’t know if anyone else has ever experienced this, but you know when fashion starts trending towards your style, and you feel like you’ve been waiting your whole life for this? That’s how I feel about a Ralph Lauren Fall. This post is for those who felt like a fool in the Supreme era.
For me, the number one thing that defines fall is cardigans. I recently talked about this in
, but here I am doing it again! This year, I’m loving cowichan cardigans. The Great Horse Lodge Cardigan, Bode Knit Cardigan, Etsy Vintage Whale Cardigan, Old Stone Trade Cowichan Cardigan, Some more at this great Etsy shop
Another RL staple, and a trend I think is here to stay, MAXI SKIRTS!! Paired with a cute white tee?
Tom Ford Midi Skirt, Dries Van Notes Midi Skirt, An Extra from Reformation
And my favorite two white tees ever:
Dairy Boy Baby Tee, Buck Mason Boxy Tee
This fun little Khaite number:
And we can’t forget a nice suede jacket:
Vintage Halston 70s Suede Jacket
For bags, I don’t know why more people aren’t talking about the Hermes garden party tote. Linking some here. They’re preppy without being obnoxious!
Hermes Garden Party Tote Red, Hermes Garden Party Tote
Now on to accessories. Ralph Lauren isn’t just inspired by the preppy coastal elite, but by Southwestern influences as well. There’s a beautiful store near me, owned by the Stapletons, called Tennessee Turquoise. It’s the perfect store to shop high-quality, Native American turquoise, so I thought it was worth including in here. Some other finds include:
Stamped Turquoise box, Pascale Monvoisin Turquoise necklace
Now for home decor, I was inspired by Taylor Hill’s Nashville home. One of my absolute favorites, because it doesn’t at all feel designed. The coziest house! See some pillows below I think would fit in:
Frances Loom Rug Pillow, Frances Loom Rug Pillow, Vintage Boudoir Pillow Cover, White Linen Pillow Cover
Ok now I know what you’re thinking. But one time I saw someone style this on top of some coffee table books on a dresser and it looked phenomenal.
Lastly, some lamps, taking a little bit of inspiration from the Polo bar.
Let me know what you think! It is so hard to make these posts pretty, so I’m sorry for that. The designer in me is seething that I am putting out work that wasn’t intricately designed, but I want to find items on resale sites with bad photography!!!
XOXOX
Love how you were inspired by one brand and shopped for items from other brands.
I saw a white wooden horse figurine in someone’s little cottage window on a walk this weekend and it looked so sweet and chic
